Zeus Technology Appoints General Manager, Americas

Santa Clara, CA July 1, 2008 – Zeus Technology, a leading provider of application delivery controller software has appointed Travis Reed as General Manager, Americas effective June 1st 2008.

In his previous role as Vice President, Corporate Development, Travis successfully established and drove key strategic partnerships for Zeus, including OEM partnerships and channel development opportunities. In his new role, he will focus on increasing the company sales presence, marketing awareness and channel effectiveness in the US and Canada.

Travis joined Zeus in August 2007 as Vice President, Corporate Development. Prior to that, his wealth of experience includes working as a software analyst on Wall Street, as well as over 10 years experience in selling and marketing technology solutions. He has held previous positions at IBM, BEA, Microsoft and Merrill Lynch.

About Travis Reed

Originally joining IBM in 1993, Travis moved to the Bay Area with Bowstreet, a Kleiner-Perkins startup in 2000. From there, he worked at BEA and Microsoft before joining the financial services industry as a software research analyst in 2003.

After working for both SoundView and Merrill Lynch, he started his own research firm in 2006, specializing in the software industry. He has MBA degrees from the Haas School of Business and Columbia Graduate School of Business.
