ZXTM 5.0 builds on Zeus' proven, high-performance software traffic management technology, adding the capability to run sophisticated traffic management policies written in Java™.
ZXTM's new Java™ Extensions extend the power of TrafficScript™ and RuleBuilder™ rules
to transform and control how ZXTM manages application traffic.
ZXTM's new Java™ Extensions can draw on the rich variety of class libraries to build policies to implement almost any application delivery task -authenticating traffic, watermarking outgoing content on the fly, detailed XML security - the possibilities are almost limitless.
ZXTM 5.0 also adds full support for IPv6, and allows for mixed IPv4 and IPv6 networks as organizations gradually adopt IPv6 for servers and client access. The new SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) support adds versatility and scalability to Telephony and Media Delivery environments respectively.
Other improvements include streamlined management of large numbers of SSL-secured sites, easy support for clusters of ASP and ASP.NET applications, extensions to ZXTM's SOAP-based Control API and TrafficScript™ language and improved management of large numbers of services and servers.
